Connect a PocketLab sensor directly into a PocketLab Notebook lesson for real-time data collection right in a Lab Report lesson. Our family of sensors includes an all-in-one physics sensor, an environmental science sensor, a low-cost weather sensor, and more.
Students can enter data manually to create interactive Data Tables, Bar Graphs, and Scatter Plots. PocketLab Notebook can also use sensors that are built into phones and computers to record measurement data.

The PocketLab Notebook was developed through grants with the National Science Foundation and the Institute of Education Sciences at the Department of Education and in partnership with WestEd Research. The Notebook beta version was piloted with hundreds of middle school students to increase their engagement in the NGSS science and engineering practices.
